Get ya a used Predator. There's one in the classifieds, albeit a little on the heavy side in draw weight.

Actually I have had both and I kept the Bighorn. I like a smaller grip and the BH fits my hand better than the Predator. Also I did not like the not so clear glass on the Predator limbs. I had Bocote veneers but the glass was milkie in the sun..... Bighorn has a new owner and I hear good things about him. I got my BH in 2003 when Bud Boker owned BH. Bud was a great guy who passed away suddenly.

Another vote for BigHorn. Custom ordered mine Sept 2000. I've shot alot of recurves since. None compare except Schaffer. Shot the two side by side and they were amazingly similar.

I like the Bighorn, but I have had one on order for almost 2 years now and yes there  is a new owner but have been told repeatedly that I will have it soon. Last I heard was he has put it aside and no completion date. Get a Predator

I own several Bighorn's starting with my first Custom in 1986. They are not the fastest bow on the market, but point and shoot as good as any and are a reliable hunting tool.
The new owner is producing a fine bow, I was fortunate to be the winning bid at the CTAS auction and now have a 2009 model

wow a 2009 model, looks nice, I would be happy with the 2007 model I paid for in 2007.

i have never shot a bighorn either--but my dad has and had one on order in the mid-90s and still wants one.  i have let 2 get by me in the last 2 weeks on here.  i have shot a predator and liked it.  i may get with the owner of it and see if i can shoot it for a week or so to make sure that is the one for me.  i am not one to pick up a bow and shoot it twice and can go from there--or at least i have not done that yet.  i want to get to "know" it first and i know where a predator is close by i may can do that with.  as for a bighorn--i would be taking a gamble, but if i dont like it, maybe my dad would and he could have it and i would do something else.

The newer predator grips are a bit smaller in the grip now. I sold an older one and the grip was a bit bigger. I like the smaller grip a lot better.
My new predator with a bit of a smaller grip.

My old predator with a slightly bigger handle.
