Mackenzie's new bow
« on: March 26, 2009, 04:13:00 PM »
Thanks to Vermonster13 and the un-named elves, here's a couple of pics of Mackenzie and her new bow. She and her sister Sophie received this package from VM13 last fall and I was late getting pics and kudos out. She loves it, we've just gotta work a bit on form. The bow is a Maddog Pup recurve and if you have little ones, definitely get them one. Great little bows with some serious snap to them.

Thanks to Vermonster13 and all his friends who help keep our young ones in archery,

Kevin

Yep, she takes after her Mom, thank God! It's pretty bad, I shot 5 and had to dig for one in the snow. She shot 5, although a bit closer, and we didn't have to look any farther than the target.

That one took some work to make happen. But that fellow won't be a problem here anymore.    ;)

Have a nice Howard Hill Junior bow up for the taking right now if anyone knows a kid that can handle 40@26, is interested in hunting and wouldn't be able to afford one otherwise. SIGN THEM UP!

I wish I did know one. I have a nephew back in WV that it would fit, but without someone there to shoot with him, he wouldn't stay with it    "[dntthnk]"

You'll find the right kid for it, I'm sure of it.

Mackinzie is a little doll! I wish I could have my daughter at that age again and enjoy watching her grow up a second time. The Maddog Pup and arrows are great, as are the MAL quiver and arm guard. My son, wife and I have the grown up versions of Mike's leather products and love them, and I recently bought a Pup longbow and arrows for the kids of a good friend. Mackinzie is a very lucky little girl to have such great equipment and a dad who wants to teach her how to use it. Thanks to David Knipes who keeps everything going to help kids like her to enjoy our sport.
