I removed my regular inserts from 3 gold tip arrows and am going to put in the 100 grain brass inserts. I found if I took 5 peices of baleing wire 4 inches long, put them in the nock end and swing the arrow down fast in a safe direction it works like a slide hammer. All 3 times it just broke the little bit of glue that the bow shop put in it and I was able to just pull it out with the plyers. I see no damage to the inside of the shaft at all. Maybe this is old news but new to me. Hope this helps someone.
