Why So Few Foley's In The Classifieds?

Been looking for a Foley T/D recurve in the classifieds for over a year now and I have seen exactly one and it was the wrong weight for me. I believe Ron builds 80+ bows/year. Doesn't it seem a little odd that you almost never see one in the classifieds?

It's probably the same as Dale Stahl and Marriah Thermal recurves. You get your hands on one, you don't let them go.

I have a Foley longbow, and I can tell you it ain't going anywhere, unless its hunting or shooting with me!!!!! Bamboo cores, Tulip wood limbs...62",48#@28" and I love it.

I had a Foley T/D Recurve that I traded KyRob out of. It was the most accurate bow I have ever owned hands down and I have owned alot of bows over the years. It was also very fast. I could shoot good groups out to 40 yards! For me that is saying something. I wish I had that same bow in a lighter draw weight. I may order another one someday. I beleive most people keep them. That is why you don't see them in the classifieds very often.

Leonard,
Give Mr. Foley a call and order a lighter set of limbs.

I like my Foley TD and it's not leaving. It's the best shooting bow I have, and it shoots fast too.

Bill, I wish I still had the bow but unfortunatly I traded it for something else. That has always been one of my weaknesses. The search for the illusive perfect bow. Lol!

As others are saying----once people decide on a Foley they tend to not want to let it go.

I bought Compton raffle tickets at Kalamazoo for a crack at a Foley recurve, longbow and knife.
They had a sample of his work, and it was very nice!
Keeping my fingers crossed.
