AD Trad Heavy stiff enough?
« on: March 29, 2009, 11:25:00 AM »
Hi,

Linked to another topic I just posted. Do you think the AD Trad Heavies will handle 385gr up front from a 70# recurve, cut to 29"?

I already shoot these shafts from my 58# FireFly with 345gr up front and they fly great and seem to be super tough. I like them but wonder if they'll be stiff enough?

I shoot the Trad Heavies with 360 up front with no problem. I shoot these out of a 58#, and a 62# longbow. The arrow is cut to 31"
