TAB-A-LONG Pics
« on: April 05, 2009, 07:23:00 PM »
Here is a simple build a long that anyone should be able to do.....It was done this morning as a 3-finger under Tab but you could just as easily make it a split finger....Simple razor knife, waxed nylon or dacron string, kitchen fork, contact cement or crazy glue, 8-9oz. leather, $1.00 package of generic Velcro......First cut the leather into strips around 2 3/4" x whatever lenght...we made several....Then cut a 3/4" to 1" strip of leather and glue it down...Wet the leather and mark your holes with the fork...the holes can be drilled of punched with an Awl.....when finished, oil well with anything pleasant smelling....peanut oil, veggie oil, etc....The pics a self explanatory but fire with any questions.....THX for LOOKING Don and Skyler

Don,
Please post pics and dimensions of your two hole tabs you normally use. Them are awesome too.
