Is there any information on how to make bone points? I searched the site but I could not view the results.

I'm not sure if this is ok to post but it's a good tutorial none the less.

Really nice! What kind of weights are these bone heads? I can see them especially for turkeys & other birds & maybe smaller game.

I don't have much personal experience with it, but I understand 'fire hardening' can make a huge difference. Apparently the 'Apache' had this down to such a 'science' that they could get the bone edges of knives shaving sharp. The one time I used fire-hardening on a bone arrow point it did make a big difference in the bone and workability to get a very fine edge. Don't know about durability though - have not had the heart to test that point, but maybe the next one.

Doug Campbell made a bone point out of Bison leg bone and shot a whitetail with it a couple of years ago. I am not sure if the story is archived on here or not but they certinally do work.
