I was out on the backside of our place this afternoon to set-up my blind for bowhunting turkey when I ran across these!Nice 8pt,long tines. To bad he did'nt make it.

very nice. even though he didn't make it, it is fortunate that someone like you was in a position to find some of his remains to tell that he was around . im sure that you will hold on to it as long as possible. im also sure that you will take good cae of it

I found the skull in a tallgrass area.As bleached as it is I figure it had been there for a couple of years. Very little chew on the horns!

always put something in pictures that will relate
"scale" like a pocket camera, a ruler, a cell phone, a shooting glove.
Really helps us see how big it is. Since it's IOWA I can pretty much guess its a bruiser, but hey, it could have been a Florida key deer taking a road trip in September, eh?
