Tuskers
« on: April 17, 2009, 10:19:00 PM »
Well I just got my Tusker Concords together with the 75 gr. adapters and they look deadly! After sharpening, Ron from KME got them all within 4 grains of each other and they came in at approx. 144 gr. each. Once I added the insert they should be slightly over 210 gr........perfect! Single bevel and tanto tipped ready for bears.

Thanks to Ron for his great work and consistency and to Braveheart for the quick service. Within six weeks I'll post pix of my bear!

I just got my first Tuskers from Braveheart and they do have exceptional service. I was impressed I ordered two (3) packs of 250 grain screw in models and all six weighed exactly the same before sharpening. I have had BH's in the past that were in the same pack and they all weighed different. Thumbs up to Tusker for the great product and what a great price. Good luck bear hunting can't wait to see the pics.

This is not a slam on the product but I ordered 2 190grn glue ons to try and 1 was bent so bad I could not get it bent back straight. The good one was easy to sharpen and flew great.  Just my experience.

blues, I wish you had brought this to our attention so we could help you.  Please PM me your address and I will send you replacement heads.  I've never noticed a defective Tusker but I reckon nobody's perfect.

Tusker doesn't let anything sit idle, newer Tuskers are coming in with a special protective coating, and the edge grinds on the single bevel heads have been vastly improved.

I've personally shot and hunted mostly with the Concordes, but have been playing with the Delta's lately.
