Jim, I had to cancel my hog hunt due to work getting in the way....let me know which Wednesday night and I'll see if I can find my way up to Verdugo Hills...

Hey Straitera, i did not use the skin,but i must say that hog had long hair and was in good shape.If it would of been bigger i would of mounted it.It was my first time shooting a red hog.

Oh yeah, Passo Robles does have some big hog populations. I hunted a ranch out there once, it was a guided hunt and spendy at that. That barley is insane when it comes to attracting hogs! My guide knew EXACTLY where and when the pigs would be coming in. I figured he guided two or three groups a week and even with that kind of pressure the hogs would come back.
