Happy Patriot's Day
« on: April 20, 2009, 01:54:00 PM »
Here in Massachusetts especially where I live, today is a Big Holiday.  April 19th (Monday holiday 20th) the Minutemen stood their ground on Lexington Green then turned the British back at Old North Bridge in Concord.  I live in Carlisle two miles west of Concord.  We close our animal clinic cause it is near impossible to get from Carlisle to Arlington with all the re-enactments and parades.

To get to my clinic, I have to go through Concord and Lexington.  Even if I can sneak around those parades, it does me no good as Paul Revere chose to ride right by my clinic  :)   My staff and I do enjoy the day off.  So Happy Patriot Day to yea'll (that's a New England ya'll)  Doc

Happy Patriots Day! God bless America with some more patriots...we need some to stand their ground these days to fight the monster our government has grown into.

Anyway, enjoy the day off Tippit. Holler when ya'll are coming down again...

Bout normal Charlie. If The lawn needs mowing once before the turkey season opener on Monday it's a normal spring. It's ready.

Ya got that right JC!

Thanks for the post Doc! I can't help but say that two of my ancestors, brothers Jonathan and Ephraim, grabbed their rifles and fought at that Old North Bridge in Concord that day and proceeded to help chase the British back to Boston Harbor! Now in my own small way, I'm trying to "fight that monster" that is growing our government and trying to take our guns away-just what the redcoats were here trying to do the day The American Revolution began!
