Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.

Congratulations on a GREAT bird, Todd, and thanks for sharing the story.  That arrow has some history and special medicine for sure.  If you need another place to send one of those arrows, I would be proud to try to add some history to one.

My first turkey (cannon) was a jake and by far the best eating of any of them.  Would I shoot another?, you betcha!

Thanks for all the responces guys!
Jimmy no need to trade I'll bring one to ya!
Rick(Fletcher) pm me your address and I'll ship one out to you.
One left to anyone who would like to be a part of the story too.
I only ask that you post here if you take an animal with one of the arrows and then offer to pass it along.

The arrow survived becasue I had spine shot her. She was at more of a 1/4 away than I thought. The arrow left a big slice accross her shoulder and ended up burying itself into her neck/spine. I was shooting from a ground blind and she was about 12 yrds away from me when I shot.I finished her off with another firefly right through the heart for a verys quick kill. Probably the biggest doe I have shot to date,,she was a fatty and ate very well.  I can't wait to see what else these arrow will do for others. They were givin to me by jacobsladder/a great freind of mine. I put them to the best use I could and passed them on and now it will go on and on till they all have a story to tell. Congrats to everyone that will get one of these arrows, They fly great and are extremely well made by elite arrows.
