Bill Foreman's personal SR Swift & Homer Ocean Charters
« on: April 26, 2009, 06:54:00 PM »
Just had to tell someone.  Yesterday I was looking for a used SR Swift [can't afford a new one as all spare money is going for a bear hunt with "Homer Ocean Charters" next spring].  Called Bill to see if he had any he replied no.  However, We struck up a deal on his personal bow.  It's a Blackhawk 58" 57#@28. He's personalizing it to me and putting on a fresh coat of finish [ did not even ask for the finish]. I asked if it was coming with any MOJO and he informed me it had taken at least 10 animals.
I'm "Estatic" as this "Old Man" can use all of the help he can get.   :wavey:

Good luck on your hunt, sounds great, are you doing spot and stalk? I have a SR Swift and love the way it casts an arrow. Mine is 48# @ 28" and I draw 29". Your gonna like it.... ron w

Yes, this is a "Spot and Stalk" hunt based off a 60' boat where we sleep, eat [like kings], and get in lots of halibut fishing.
When bears are spotted, we are taken in to the beach and the hunt begins.. One on one with NO GUIDES  :wavey:
