Raptor gone hunting/guiding
« on: April 30, 2009, 01:41:00 PM »
Just a heads up that Raptor Archery will be closed starting mid week next week till the end of the month. Thats right its spring bear season again and I will be sharing a very special part of Idaho with several bear hunters as well as a great group of bow builders, so this is just a heads up for those of our customers that need any last minute items.
Thanks for another great year!

You scared me for a minute Ted with the title of your post. I thought you were closing for good.  :scared:
Don't do that to me again.  :bigsmyl:

You ought to reword that title:  Not everyone reads the post afterwards and it could cost you some business.

Dang Ted you might want to add temporary to the title of that, I got shafts I need to order but don't know the spine yet..........

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

OK , That's it for me starting tomorrow through June 1st , returning here to the store on June 2nd.
One week of bear hunters and then the Bow build/Bear hunt begins, looking forward to it guys, see you in two weeks, Curtis you best start driving now, once you stop at Vance's on the way up you may not get back on the road for a few days.
I will do my best to post some great pics when I return to get people fired up for the next Bear hunt bow build, there's even talk in the wind of a fall session if there is enough interest.
See you in June.

Hey Bro, been missin talking to ya! I've been swamped since Dad died. Back to back to back hunts. No complaining here though. Just picked up 35,ooo more acres of prime javelina/hog real estate.

We'll miss you at bear camp this year. Wish you were along for the story telling. We'll get caught up soon. I'll probably thin a few of Vances gophers if they've gotten bigger than last time. Those are kinda small and hard to hit!  :readit:    :bigsmyl:  . CK

Yes Charlie we will miss you in bear camp and yes I am sure the super hero outfit will be first on the list for Curtis.
No worries Curtis I spoke with Gary this morning and have an extra set of wool for you , figured he was closer to your scrawny @#$% size than I was.
I still remember you under about three layers of clothes with my wool pants over the whole bunch.
Dont forget your rain coat!
