You will hate it so send it to me as soon as it arrives or just have Rick send it straight to me to save you the trouble.    :D

I don't have a cherokee,but I have an Apache
by Roy Hall. And It's a great shooting bow.
I bought it 2nd hand and had a small issue
with it and Roy fixed it for free, he was a
pleasure to deal with.

I have a 58" Navajo Scout and got a set of 56" Chief limbs.  The bow is great and both set of limbs shoot fantastic.  Wouldn't part with it. He builds great bows.

I own an Apache and have shot the Cherokee.  The Cherokee would be the next Navajo I'd buy.  Roy's bows are very smooth & quiet. I don't know if I would consider them scream'in dogs, but they are a joy to shoot.  If you bought the one from Rick...you did real good.  I've been eyeing that bow for awhile.  I've shot one very similar with boo limbs that was priced over $700.00.  If I had the funds I would have bought it.

I have a Navajo Apache.  It is 60" 50@28.  It is a great shooting bow.  It is a very quiet bow that just settles right in your hand.  I have also had a Cherokee.  It was silky smooth as well.  You will like this bow.

Great shooting bows, I don't own one right now but I will pretty quick. I am probably going to get the Apache.

I have a Navajo 3-piece longbow, 57#, 62". Not a firelighter, speed wise but a beautiful bow to shoot. Very smooth, very stable, very, very quiet. Lovely  :D

Shawn,
About the arrow choice...try it.  I don't shoot woodies, but I'm seriously thinking about it though.  Maybe someone with more experience with woodies will chime in.
