You use it by fixing it over your bow arm with the leather lace - usually after you have raised a nice welt where the string hits you.

You must have never popped the inside of your arm if you don't know what it is for, consider yourself lucky also helps keep  loose clothes from tangling in the string when you shoot.Very nice work complements to your friend.Kip

Like Shaun said it's to cover up the BRUISE.

Very nice looking armgaurd. Now You need to show Him those backquiver designs You've been working on.

1. lay the arm guard aginst your arm
2. reach through the top strap
3. Grab bottom strap and pull through top strap and hook to top button
4. Grab top strap and rap around and hook to bottom button.

You might do a little change and get some elastic, brade it and stick it through the holes and tie it off. Here is a couple of pics of what the elastic looks like installed. Leave some extra on one end so you can adjust for wearing bulky gear during winter.

If you are asking where you wear it here is a pic

Hey Fido Dog, what are you doing with my initials on your arm guard. I think you should send it to me immediatally lol.

I looks great, but I think it would look better on me lol.

You guys are the WORST! LOL!

He said I need to put a sealer on it. Any suggestions I can get from the hobby store or Lowes?

Also it's very stiff. It's a thick piece of hide. I'd like it to be a bit more pliable (sp?).

I would need to seal before softening right?

It's not really a sealer but I used Montana Pitch Blend for a final coat over the dye job on my sons quiver I made for him, works perfect!
