Here is a Frank San Marco. I think he only uses yew in his bows. I was really impressed with it!

A fellow named Jerry Fisher was a trad bowyer in Fayetteville NC in the early 90s and a fellow member of the Little River stickbow.  He made as nice a longbow as I have ever seen or shot. His bows with Yew cores were faster and smooter than his bows with bamboo cores. I for one think Yew and Black locust are two the best, yet unheralded limb materials.
