Well I can't seem to edit my post but excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face! That is a sweet bow!
Just one more step please!

Here you go.Sorry it took so long for me to take pictures.  Feast your eyes on this Shrew Classic hunter in brown curly birch veneers over carbon limbs with foam core.   Bow bolt takedown, and elk antler accent tips.

I included a closeup of the hawg hunting light I made.  I purchased a fenix tactical light (very bright) with a finger pressure switch attachment for the on/off switch.  I made the holder out of 1/8 inch cold rolled steel and a 1" x 3" piece of 1/8" flat iron.  The rubber strap is a replacement strap for a Great Northern Quiver purchase from 3Rivers.

The steel is the same diameter as the steel on the Great Northern Quiver so the steel peg fits the holes on the strap perfectly.  The steel is shaped into an upper and lower cradle which can be bent to adjust the elevation of your light beam after it is secured to your bow.  It does not come out of adjustment after shooting.  I wrapped the peg end of the mounting plate with a small strip of innertube rubber to keep from marring the bow finish.  It works great and I am getting much better at shooting in the dark now.  Point at your target and draw.  Hit the light, aim and release in a split second.  I am preparing for a rendevous with a big pig in Texas.

Arwin,

I cannot seem to edit my posts right now either.

Thank you for the compliment. This is the first bow I ever bought new, made for me.  I am pretty pleased with it.    Gregg is making me a sister for this bow in grey curly birch, 7-8 pounds heavier draw weight, should be available Mid June.

Does anybody know how much performance you gain with the carbon?  I should be getting the call from Ron in the next few weeks to finalize my order and would like any additional info to make my decision even harder.  Thanks.  (Oh yeah, sweet bow Sherpa)

10-20 fps is what I have read after searching. Dont know if any one has done any official testing. Many people on here have said there is a noticeable difference in smoothness and speed when you combine the foam cores and carbon. Several people have shot some at the big shoots in the last couple of years and I have only heard good stuff. Let me know what ya think/find out, or if you run across any test reults. >>>>-----> Greg

While I do not have a carbon Shrew, I will have.  I am on the list and mine will have be a carbon model.  Thanks for sharing the pics.  I need to go out and shoot my non-carbon Shrew.
