I was cruising checkmates website and I am interested in the Thunderbird flat bow. But I cant find a good pic of one; anyone on here have one they can post a pic of?
Also if anyone has an opinion of this bow I sure would like to hear it.
Thanks

I don't have a picture of one, but a buddy shoots it. He is such a smooth instinctive shooter with that bow........He likes it, as it shoots well for him and is a great fit. He hardly ever practices but he seems to let loose just as soon as he hits anchor and the shot is spot on.
Found a link for you...pics aren't great.

I apologize for the pics--or lack of them. I'm not much of a photographer, and not much time to boot. Shoot me an e-mail and I'll see if I have some decent pics saved on my computer.
If I helps, the profile of the T-bird is very similar to the Crusader longbow--just a bit shorter, with slightly wider limbs.

I have one. It is right hand, 50# @ 28". It is very smooth drawing and shooting. An easy bow to pick up and begin shooting accurately. Speed wise it is a fair bit slower than comparable length and draw weight r/d longbows that I have. Mine has waterfall bubinga veneers under clear glass and looks awesome. Overall I would give it a positive recommendation. For the money I would give it a positive + recommendation. (All Check Mate bows seem to be reasonably priced to me.)
I'm not sure how to post a photo, but if you're interested further send me a PM.
