I'd pick the hunt, then when it's paid for, I'd tell the little women, now I need a bow for the hunt and since the hunt is paid for, we don't want to loose the money dear LOL!!!!
I heard of a guy that took his wife to Alaska for their honeymoon. She had no idea it was a bear hunt he had won at a raffle !!
That's a tuff one, depending on the hunt or the bow I guess ?

Depends on the hunt choice for me, if I have the chance to float the Moose John for moose and bear, it would be  a no brainer.  Come to think of it, I would probably take a hunt over a bow.....

If you've already got a bow that works, that's an easy choice.  Take the hunt!  I love a new bow as much as anyone, but without a hunt to go on with it what pleasure could it bring?  Memories of special hunts will live with you the rest of your life.  A new bow will more likey just become one of many in a line and the special newness wears off quickly from most of them.

Personally i'd look at hunt price packages and pick the high and low end prices. Then tell her look Dear I saved enought o buy a new bow for the hunt too!

If you got a good bow alreay, take the hunt. Do something you have always wanted to do. Take the extra $$$ and buy a decent camera to record the event or a good set of glasses to help enjoy that hunt and the others after it. I have never ever regretted paying for a really good set of glasses. You can always get another bow on down the road. Just think if you nail a wallhanger on your trip!

I'd have to say the hunt. Just my opinion, but I've come to think custom bows are a little over rated, unless you're wealthy. A hunt for something you can't hunt in your home state is always a good choice.

That for me is not even a question. I would choose the hunt. I have owned lots of bows and will get more, but I have only been on a few guided or do it yourself out of state hunts. Shawn

She doesn't realize the disparity in prices between a new bow and hunt of the types these guys are talking I bet. I'd go with the hunt too if that's the case. lol

go on the hunt.  you will need some supplies nad equipment for the trip that should total up to just about what a new bow cost.
