First of all I need to thank & apologize to RER. I picked up a used RER Arroyo that shoots as well as any bow I have shot. Plus being a recurve...I usually Do Not Shoot Recurves!
My only problem with it was the grip. Again being a longbow shooter I like a straight to low wrist grip. Also being a knifemaker, I have no problem hogging off metal or wood with a 2X72 belt grinder...doesn't take long to shape wood with a 36 grit belt
And knifemakers can be a little weird at times cause we like to destroy a finished blade just to see how the steel looks on the inside
With that all said and done, my Arroyo with a new straight grip and palm swell. While I was at it, I decides to round out the back of the riser shelf too. It still shoots great but now it fits me like a glove. Since it was used there was no warranty so I
it stays together...Doc
