Things Are Looking Up
« on: May 27, 2009, 02:19:00 PM »
Well, after an extensive shoulder surgery and 4 months of physical therapy, I was able to draw my 43# hybrid longbow last night. I didn't get to shoot it, but I drew it full draw and anchored three times. Now, I don't think I'm ready to shoot a tournament, but things are looking up. Maybe in June, after shooting the 30# recurve loaned to me by Dennis Han of Hickory Creek Arrows, I'll be able to shoot a tournament somewhere.  Yes sir, things are looking up.

Slow and easy, don't overdo it. Rest your shoulder between shooting and let the muscles get strong. The rest is as important and the shooting.
