« on: May 28, 2009, 10:20:00 PM »
I just gotta show off my new Bruin
Only 2 weeks old(contrary to the date on my screwed up camera)
62" 60lbs @28" Master Elite TD II
Cocobolo with multiple Ebony and Yew wood laminations in the riser. Yew limbs (not veneers) Ebony tips and overlays-All the bells and whistles available (Excecpt FF-by my chosing) Mike's really done it this time!!
WOW- I can't put it down guys! My brother-in-law "limbhanger" also had an Osage and bloodwood Master Elite made side by side with mine. WOW-STUNNING!! Bug him for some posted pics!

Mike doesn't have his website up yet, but give him a call and he'll send you a brochure, or I could scan one and send it to you.

Man that's a beautiful bow!  That's another one I'll have to dream about awhile.

Beautiful bow. What is the boyers name? I met him once at a big traditional shoot in MS. I recognized him by his big black glasses he had on. Very nice fella and has been building bows for a long time now. Not a bow I really ever see around here but then I am the only one shooting Robertsons around here.

Mike made a very fine hunting bow...smooth and fast.
Good luck with the "new" Bruin.

Is Mike back at building bows full time?

I have a Master Express with 2 sets of limbs, its the best shooting bow that I have.

Mike Steliga builds a great bow...I've had a couple of them. The craftsmanship is second to none, and they're fine shooters. A visit to his shop is a treat, too. Congrats on the new bows, guys!

Congrats! Beatiful bow. That's good to hear the Bruin's are back. I had a one piece that had outstanding performance.

WOW,

Mike has sure made some changes in the appearance of his bows.  They were always good performers but very...utilitarian?  Very Nice!

I met Mike at the ETAR back in 1994 or so. Mike made my first custom bow, a WoodsMaster SE take down recurve. It was all laminated maple, even the limbs. A very simple bow, yet a very good bow. I've had a few sets of limbs made over the years for it. If you get him on the phone he can talk your ear off.   :)  I've had my share of bows since then, most I don't have anymore. But I still have that Bruin.
