Custom 1956 Root Game Master

Custom because it had to be special ordered to get the Bear quiver bushing in the riser.  Bow is a 1956, decals are good, 64", 46#, woven glass.  Shoots great and will look better with some steel wool and a protective overspray.

I have a twin to that bow George, minus the bushings, but mine is a Field Master 66" 43# @ 28" Number 13173

Question for you, how do you know it is a 1956? I have several Root bows that I have collected over the years and would really like to know more info about the models I have. I know about Archery Archives but I am real heistant to go there because of the computer virus at that site.

northerner, I go to archery archives,  I have AVG anti-virus and it takes care of any issues there.  It possibly could be a 55 but they don't have a catalog for that year, but it is identical to the 56 photos.  If I'm not mistaken, they went to silk screens in 1957 and quit with the decals.  I'm not 100 % sure on that though.
