The great South Eastern Frog Hunt took place at Joe Coots house Saturday night. Skyler represented Al. Mason represented TN, Reed represented FL, and Chase represented GA. There weren't a whole lot of frog legs to represent the effort, but the boys came in muddy, scratched, bruised, and tired so it was judged a successful venture. On second thought, that is the way they started the adventure too! Chase led GA to the lead with this winning specimen:

Gregg, Skyler was wondering would you let them continue this Hunt in August at the Fall Shoot? He thinks the Lake at the Campground looked good but was A lITTLE concerned about big Lizards in the Water

There are some lizards in that there lake. Don't know what the FWC boys think about that in their camp. I will have to check. I was trying to figure out how to put a bowfishing trip on either side of that weekend. Hmmm.... SOmething to think about.

That pic ushered back memories of times in life when all hunts were epic adventures. All bucks were huge, Bigfoot was always watching from the shadows, and most of all, FROGS WERE BIG GAME.
Man, I wish I could recapture the excitment that lay in wait in the shadows of every woodlot when I was so a young fella. Great pic! Wish I could have been along with those young fella's! Thanks! CK
