Bow tillered opposite of your shooting style?

How much difference does it make?

One set of limbs is 60" and the other 62".  Bow is tillered for split.  I shoot 3 under (or...I always have....lol).

Ive heard it said it's possible to shoot a split tillerd limf as a 3 under and should work vice versa I would think bit IAINT FIGGERED IT OUT so I just stay with my split style
Im sure someone whos figured out the magic of it will chime in amd be of better service..I WILL BE WATCHING FOR IT TOO HAHAHAHA

I've owned bows tillered both ways, and shot both ways, and the only accommodation I make is to change the nock point.   If I'm shooting 3 under, I nock at 5/8" and maybe a bit, split 1/2".   I've never paid any attention to whether the bow was specifically tillered to favor one or the other.  I've talked with any number of shooters who feel the same.   I started out split, then switched to 3 under (and two under).   I had a bunch of bows, and just kept shooting them all.   When I switched back to split, again, just changed the nock points and kept on shooting.

A point that has always bothered me about the emphasis on this is that recurves generally come made to shoot off the shelf, but many folks add a raised rest.  Other than nock point, it doesn't seem to bother the bow.

Just build up the shelf about a fingers width if you even need to do anything.

Don't worry about it. Just shoot and tune and hunt. Plenty of nice animals have fallen over in front of my split-tillered bows that I now shoot 3-under.

Won't make a bit of difference after adjusting your nock set during tuning.  Three under shooters will typically require a little higher nock set on bows that have a split fingered tiller.  On my straight longbows I typically need around 3/4" above square nockset on split tillered bows.  On even tillered bows my nock set is around 1/2".
