Black Widow Rocks
« on: June 07, 2009, 08:24:00 PM »
I got to meet the guys from Black Widow today at the Howard Hill Shoot. John and Roger spent over 2 hrs answering all of my questions and helping me find the perfect bow. I shot 3 different bows and finally decided on the PSAX with copperhead skins and laser overlays. The Osage should look fantastic with those skins. I really didnt want to buy another bow but after shooting one and dealing with those 2 guys it was a no brainer.  I shot over 10 different bows over the weekend and for me the PSAX shot better than any other bow. Great bows and even better people.

Hey Alan, yea that recurve is really smooth and i love the way it fits my hand. I decided on there low grip but i also liked the Asbell grip.

My PSA-X is one of the best shooting bows I have ever owned so I think you will be happy with your choice.

as ya'll know by now i will be getting a new bow from widow; i am strickly a longbow guy but instead of ordering over the phone, i am going to make the drive there {only 4 hours} to make sure that when i order it's going to right! i am slow in making my decision but i feel like i have to be because for me, this is trully once in a lifetime buy and i don't want to get it wrong; thanks for the post because it gies me comfort in knowing that these people are going to make sure that i get the right bow.....  :campfire:

Going up there and actually meeting the guys, and shooting the test bows is the way to go. The guys are great, and they'll help you pick out exactly what you want. The only problem is once you see and shoot all those gorgeous shooters, you're gonna be on option overload.

You gotta go though......
