« on: June 09, 2009, 10:31:00 PM »
Can someone tell me where I Can get some Seal Skin for a shelf rest?  I looked on Alaska Bowhunter Supply's site but couldn't find it.
Thanks,
Tim

Good luck, the last time I tried to order it from 3 Rivers, they had discontinued it, shelf material, and tab.
If I locate any more, I will let you know, and would like you to do the same please.

You can buy it in coats and hats on the auction site for cheap if you're patient.

Buddy of mine bought up some purses on E*** that were seal skin. He just cut them up into usable material.

I found some at a Cabela's retail store here in Maine.  It was on closeout.  If you have on close enough to drive to they might have some.  At least worth a call.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

there are treaties that affect the harvest, mfg of products and resale. Something in the native pipeline croaked and it's just not commercially available.

Guys are finding garments on auctions and selling it or sharing it.

If we only knew...  :(
