« on: June 11, 2009, 12:30:00 PM »
Received this Morrison Mini-14 riser Predator dipped with C Carbon Foam LB limbs (51@28 56")in the mail today from Grinch. Also thought I'd share some pics of the latest Black Swan riser with hybrid limbs I've been playing with for about two weeks (50@28 62"). Enjoy I know I am.    :D

Dave,

I sure like my Morrison ILF with almost the exact same specs as yours but a different look. I wish I could shoot mine as well as you are shooting yours! Well, some days I can, and some (most) days I can't.

The Morrison is a good shooter that gets the arrows to the spot in a hurry. The phenolic riser is real calm in the hand and easy to steady for such a short bow. Likes a much lighter spine arrow than I would have thought for a 51# bow. A little top heavy and needs a little more noise reduction, but is real consistent on the shot. So guys you can stop PMing me about wanting first dibs on it, it has a home for a while(at least until Bob tempts me with the aluminum version).

The Swan is my favorite Swan to date. Faster then any of my previous ones and so dead on the shot. I love fast and quiet.

Elbow, I see what you mean - that looks like the place that carbon arrows go to die.

Dave, the bows look great; the groups ain't bad either.

Wow those are some great looking bows, Dave.  I really like the size of that BS riser - it's tiny on the grip (compared to the Morrison).

I'm going to need to bug you in the future, I think...  I've got some    :knothead:    questions I'm sure you can set me straight with.

The Mini-14 just tried its darnedest to robinhood an arrow. Swagged arrows like to break on me though. The tip shattered with the nock and the second arrow just deflected a little instead of sinking into the first.
