ACS 1 pc and 3 pc grip styles with pics
« on: June 11, 2009, 04:54:00 PM »
There was a thread on here earlier about the grip differences.
A few months ago my new CX 1 pc arrived

and in spending a lot of time with my new toy I realized the open longbow grip was a lot more to my liking

The third CX in the pic will get the treatment shortly.
Of course if you are ordering a new CX you can get pretty much any style grip you want........

Looks like the throat may be a little larger in diameter on the one piece.  I like the looks of that one piece a bunch, have to find the dough first though.  Thanks for the pics.

Bjorn,

Can you explain a little what you mean by the open longbow grip? Are you referring to the recurve/pistol grip of the 3 piece?
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

Thinking about selling one of my 14" risers and picking up a JK riser. Bought a used one piece last week and I really like the grip. I was going to call the boy's at A&H to see if the JK riser is the same dimensionally as the one piece. Like the thicker throat on the grip. Bjorn, what are you bracing your one piece at?

Good shooting sticks, the ACS one piece is....

The 3 piece is still my favorite bow ever though!
