A little backyard fun.
« on: June 13, 2009, 03:45:00 PM »
vtmtnman came over to do some shooting today. It was pretty nice out and a good day for flinging some arrows.

So you can't be accurate shooting two different types of bows you say. 1957 Kodiak and 2009 Morrison ILF, one shooter, one group, 18 yards.    :D

Rich and my boy Jake.

Jake wanted one with his bow alone. lol

It was fun for all.

With a backstop like you have I guess you would want to make sure ya hit your target!

He shoved all those arrows in the target and took the pic...

There's no way you can shoot two different bows and be accurate...  :D

Had fun as always Dave.

Looks like great fun!  Darn good shooting too..

How is that brown bhead target ?? Is it fairly easy to pull arrows from ?  How is it holding up.

No matter how good it is your boy is probably going to wear it out !

It's holding up alright Pat. It's been out for two weeks and I'm on side two. Of course it has been shot into a few thousand times at this point. The black Delta to the side has a 4-5" hole clear through the center. It was a lot cheaper than the Block but in the long run not so much.

I like the worn down trail to and from the targets. Looks like a thousand year old caribou trail.
