Shrew or Whip (differences between}
« on: June 14, 2009, 10:00:00 PM »
I know they are both top of the line. Just curious as to the the differences between the two from people who own or have had both?? Shootability,speed, quietness, likes heavy arrows vs. light arrows, etc. ???

I have a Whip and I really like it. Quiet, shoots good, looks great, no hand shock. All I have shot are heavier arrows around 13 grains per lb. Once you order one Dan will usually have it ready to ship in under 5 weeks.

Love my shrew SS gold, 56" bow. No hand shock. There is a great one for sale in classifieds right now. It would cut out the year waite. Hear a lot a posivitive things about the whip.
I always hit where I'm aiming, but rarely where I'm looking.

Love, love, love my whip. I'm shooting light arrows (2114's) out of it and it's still quiet with no handshock. Think I'm gona try some 2018's soon for the heck of it.

No clue what my arrow speed is, but I'm shooting 29.5" arrows with 125 gr heads.

Mine is a two piece that I bought used...53# @28
