Funny you just mentioned it, yesterday I did my arrows and Sandra's. I just put the arrows on a flat serface with the fletching hanging over the edge. Roll my hand on the arrow to make it spin, spray lightly and put it aside to dry.(15 min.)
I havn't lost a feather in many years. The camp dry dosen't seem to hurt any cresting. Biff

I have been using Camp Dry on fletching for a couple years. No problems, and it seems to keep my fletching nice and dry.

Awesome, does the smell eventually fade away?
I'm going to give this a try on my hunting arrows. I'm going to make them up here soon and spray them so they can air out over the summer!

Be careful. We used camp-dry(the aerosol) on several dozen shafts and sometime during the season the feathers started falling off. This was on aluminum shafts with fletch tite glue. Not sure if it mixed with the chemicals or not but I never used it again. Since then I have never had any issues.

I've been using scotch gard outdoor water shield for 3 years now(basically the same thing as camp dry)it works great, the smell will go away after a few days! I usually treat my arrows around the first of august and start hunting mid september just to be on the safe side
