Foley Brace Height
« on: June 25, 2009, 10:09:00 AM »
My son picked up a new, 66", 50lbs.@ 28" Foley 3 piece Longbow at Compton's this past weekend,(Dad did the financing). Georgeous Bow and a flat out shooter.  I asked Ron about the brace height but it's slipped my mind as to what he reccommended(lots of things slip my mind these days). Anyway does anyone know off hand what the range is? Thanks

Rick, He told me 7-1/2". Start there and work up or down till you find the sweetest spot. Lippe

I have a Foley one piece that I shoot at 7 1/2".

Rick Start at 7 1/2" and you can go up or down about 1/4" to tune to your arrows. If you have questions call me or e-mail me and we can discuss any issue you have. Ron

Thanks Ron.  Sean is still pretty excited about his bow.  Can't blame him, she's a beauty and a real shooter too!
