New to me Wes Wallace Royal T/D (pics are back)
« on: June 28, 2009, 10:26:00 AM »
Received another Wes Wallace recently, just twisted up a string, added a nock point and decided to see what she could do.

66" 62@29 Osage & Bolivian rosewood riser, fully trapped Osage limbs, antler tips.

And just to rub it in.....
The first 3 shots, mismatched arrows, 92' across backyard (just under 31 yards).
THIS HAD TO BE A FLUKE!! BUT I'll TAKE IT!!!!

2 2213'S and a 2117. 125 gr field points, 5" fletch some torn!

jumping with joy, Hal

Are you sure those arrows weren't shot from a compound    Nice group.

Never owned a compound, shot one once in 1976. They just don't feel right, never shot one again.

Don't understand what the problem is with the pics.
hockey7 had no problem with them and they show up for me. Did the same thing I always do with photobucket and never had a problem before.
They keep coming up for me. I don't get the no pics responses?

I got my Wes Wallace Royal takedow last Friday-Its a takedow, Cocobola riser, natural bamboo limbs, 62" 50# at 28", horn tips come standard witht he bow. She pulls back super smoooth.....and flings my goldtip 5575 with 50grain insets and 145grain tip very nicely.

A truly wonderful bow.....

Elk whisper, I believe you will be very happy with the red elm limbs. The Royal I have has red elm limbs. Not as stunning as Bocatoe or Cocobola but elm is a real preformer. I had to "spine up" from my recurve that is the same draw weight.
