Does anyone in Texas know where to get this before September, it seems that that is the only times I see them. I recently(November) got a bow and am itching to hunt with it, but I need to find out where to do this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Call your Fish & Game they should have a list of courses.

Hello John, the hunter safety course can be taken on line, and then you would have to take the hands on class. The Grand Prairie Gun Club offers it several times a year and there is one through the Denton archery club. I took the bowhunters education class @ Outdoor Pro Shop in Garland and the field class @ the Mesquite archery club. I will see if i can locate some specific information.
