Little Nippers
« on: July 06, 2009, 09:23:00 PM »
Here are my two youngest shooting for the first time.  I picked up a Black Rhino bow at Compton's & Daddy   finally finished their arrows...blue feathers for Jon & purple for Liv.

Here I am trying to show them what to do when I should have just gotten out of their way.  Liv informed me that I was getting in her way...she couldn't get her elbow up with me smothering her.

Then I got out of their way & let them have fun-

From about 2 yards - a couple of naturals!  These are the very first arrows they've ever shot.  Looks like they'll pass me up about next week.

TOO cool Tim.

It was great meeting you at Comptons and sharing the campfire!

Hey Kenny-

Great meeting you too.  Maybe next time we can tell each other stories instead of listening to someone else!

You didn't happen to find my knife/armguard combo did you?  It's REAL nice & I'd hate to think an Ohioan might be wearing it!   :campfire:    :coffee:

These are special times for us daddy's!  I try not to take a day or minute spent with them for granted.  We almost lost Jon when he was two.  It was really great to hand arrows to the little guy watching him smile so big I think his lips touched his ears at one point.

Remember to take time for your kids

Can't wait to do it myself.  I should let her learn to walk a little better first though. Ha ha ha.
