Help with a Quiver
« on: July 10, 2009, 09:34:00 PM »
I have a axis doe hide with hair on and I want to see if I can find someone to make a quiver for me.  I got this a year ago on a hog hunt in texas.  It was free range so I couldn't pass up the chance.  Don't see these much in Indiana.  My brother was gooing to make a back quiver for me but Just after I got it back from the Taxidermist he was told that he had Panc. Cancer.  2 month later just two weeks ago he passed away.  So if there is someone who can help I could use it.  I was thinking of leather outside with this hide as the lining and overlapping at the top.  Let me know if anyone can help and lets see what we can work out
Thanks

I talked to Shell today and it sounded like she was as busy as a one legged gal in a butt kickin' contest. If I were you I'd talk to her and beg (if needed) to get her to make that quiver. Her work is second to none, real works of art that anyone should be proud to use.  http://community.webshots.com/user/fishrofmen1
