Boy, am I envious. I lived there for 3 years and would love to go back for a vist. My first child was born there, also. You are going to have a great time.

Thanks, Katie! I already have a sitter, but I appreciate the offer
.
Thanks to all for the advice and offers of coffee, ice cream and friendship. PM's have been sent and I will try to call those of you with whom we may be able to make contact.

30coupe, I hope that you have a great trip, and I also hope for a follow-up report with photos when you return, because this is giving me some great ideas for our next family vacation. My wife is headed to Artic Village next week for our church's mission trip, and will probably return about this time next year. Maybe, just maybe, I can do some planning so that we're all in Alaska for several weeks next summer, visiting some of the same places as you..........

Jeff, thanks and pictures will follow. We are excited about the trip and about shaking hands with some TG members while we're there. To launch an arrow or two would be an added bonus. It sounds like Bill Sant has me covered there.

I with you AKDan, the Pumphouse has prime rib so big it'll feed you for two days! Definitely worth a stop!
