Unfortunately I didn't take any "before and after" photos, and I'm not sure you would really be able to see much of a difference in a photo anyway. Basically, the front of the riser where your fingers go still had corners on it, so I rounded the front. The palm area was very fat, so I thinned that down. It was also very fat where my thumb was, so I grooved that area.
Keep in mind I have small-to-medium sized hands. If you have large hands I don't don't think you'll mind the riser much as is, except for maybe the squarish front.
