looking for somebody to build me a bowstring

Anybody interested in building me a 3 ply dacron bowstring for my 94# Howard Hill longbow?

Check the classifieds there are a few string makers in there. I got one that way and it is very nicely made.

oliverstacy made me 2 strings for St. Jude donation and they were great.

It's not hard to make them. Check here for the tutorial on a string jig. You just need a 1by4 or 2b4 and some nails to make one. Artifical sinew is $8 a roll and makes great bowstrings. The breaking strength of the artifical sinew is #70 so I would use 8 or 9 strands.

Thanks...I haven't made a three bundle yet, I think that is what he is asking for.  I have made about 40+ strings in the last 14 days or so.

I'd build a two bundle if I knew how many strands were needed.  I'm assuming you'd need close to 20 strands or more of Dacron.  

I'm also assuming the bow is not FF approved, if it were a 14-18 strand would be good.

YOUR STRING IS DONE.SEND ME PM, WITH ADDRESS.I WILL MAIL OUT MON.COLORS ARE BLACK,TAN AND GREEN.IT LOOKS GOOD BUT BIG.USED SMALLER SERVINGWOOD ARROW NOCKS SNAP ON TIGHT.
