Well I have been most of where you have all but the extra wife, and I still have about 30 of the 60 or so guns I had once.  However, the guns do make for extra cash for bows so a couple more are on the block.

I got back into trad bows after I switched over for 20 years hunting with a compound.  I still have, love, and shoot my Mathews Switchback, but it is like shooting a rife for me now inside 50 yd. so I don't need to shoot it all that much anymore, and I like to shoot. I am on my first custom and have had 4 other used bows in the 8 months since I got hooked.  Still have one of the 4 so I am shooting two now.  So far I am not off the deep end yet I don’t think, but I could be too sick to know.  I found other trad gang members around my area so I have shot their bows.  Also got to a few of the custom makers in my state to shoot bows.  Went to the Kzoo show and shot bows.  I am going to a shoot in a couple more weeks to shoot more.  I have found a few trad bows here and there in shops to try out.  I have managed to try a lot of stuff without buying so that helps.

Well none of that is really a help, but the one thing that will help is the fact you have found the Lord.  Put him first in your life, and serve him with all your heart.  Put your family next.  If no aspect of the time and money you are spending on trad archery is negatively affecting those relationships in any way then you don’t have a problem.

More shooting, lots of waking back and forth to the target and hunting will help with the 20 lb.  Also tree climbing is great exercise as is long scouting hikes.  Really trad archery is a much healthier hobby than many other things.
