Anyone Try 3Rivers Hunter's Mask?
« on: July 18, 2009, 09:46:00 AM »
Has anyone tried the 3Rivers Hunter's Mask soaps?
If so, how did it work for scent control?

I usually use the liquid Scent-Away soap I buy at Wal-mart during after season sale for about $2 each....however, I didn't get in time last lear and I'm not paying $11 for soap.

thanks

Hey BEN, It's funny how we keep running into each other. I've used the hunters mask and swear by it. The only quam i have with it is it dries out my skin but i have bad allergies so that could also be mostly me. I have been within 8 yards of a doe and neither one of us knew it. Hey I was wondering what if you had to work next friday? I was thinking about seeing if i could get off early friday and head up and shoot at twigs. let me know what you are up to and ill ask him monday. You should try to make it to the next osta shoot. It's the first and second of august in newark. If i don't hear from you tonight i'll call you tomorrow.

Matt,
I have to work next weekend.....this weekend is my 4 day weekend......I can still go to Twigs if you want to go----they usually start shooting about 5p and finish about 8, depending on the number of shooters, of course!
I went yesterday and finished 3rd, but there were only 9 guys there---about usual number.

Unfortunately Aug. 1-2 I have to work also. The next weekend is my 4 dayer again though-- in time for the Guernsey shoot.

Ben , I have used the soap for several years now, and absolutely love it. I have had great results with scent elimination/masking using it.
And it smells great to me too.
I haven't had any drying of the skin with it, so it's probably just something to do with Matt's sensitive skin.

Matt-----definitely bringing "the girls". 'Bella now has a bright pink longbow that she thinks is the best bow ever!

Smallwood-----thanks for the input. I was hoping at least someone else had tried it and didn't have the dry skin problem.
