headed to alaska
« on: July 18, 2009, 05:05:00 PM »
i am going to alaska in september on a spot and stalk bear and deer hunt. i need a padded case for a longbow with a bow quiver to use while we are in the small skiff or i need to figure out how to use a back or side quiver with a day pack. i can easily attatch a quiver to the day day but the arrows are not easily acessable. need some ideas.

      thanks b-dog

Take a look at the Safari Tuff. I really like mine for use in and out of a skiff here in AK. Where are you going hunting?

Wow, those Safari Tuff look pretty good.  Be nice to have your bow in that if your puttin' around in a skiff.

I'd stick with the bow quiver if that's the way your used to shooting.

We've tried everything here to keep feathers dry while busting brush - seems a back or side quiver that completely protect your arrows are best for that.

very nice and you can still leave the quiver on.
I think cabelas carries these.
