Doug, In my opinion no one gives you a better total package than you get with Dan Toelke's bows(
www.montanabows.com
). He has made a reputation mostly with his r/d "Whip" longbows but I have had a t.d. recurve and still own a D longbow and one of his new 1 pc. recuves, the Chinook. All have been superbly made of beautiful wood, they are fast, stable, forgiving and QUIET! You will never deal with a better guy and I don't know how he does it but his delivery time is still only a few weeks. These are a few pictures I found, a pr. of Whips, Cocobolo/Yew & Bocote/Fiddleback Myrtlewood and my Chinook,Cocobolo/Juniper.

Ben sent some Photos of 2 Hummingbirds that are very Purdy. There is a bow on the Robertson site that is a pure temptation. I have looked at the Tolke bows thery are very nice, RER has some fine sticks as well. Rose Oak also has some very fine bows available.
I just spoke with my brother inlaw from Casper WY I might just end up with one more Pronghorn.

I have and have had several High $$$ re-curves and long bows. However, since "scoring" my Shawnee/Dakota from Bob Walker, My "early" Morrison T/D RC from Donald Rowan, and my Cheyenne "A" riser with "B" RC limbs, [ have new Carbon/Foam dakota "D" limbs on order]. My Search is over. Bob makes the "highest quality", "Best Preforming" bow I have ever had the pleasure of owning and shooting. Definately knows how to apply the word "CUSTOM" to each and every bow I have ever encountered from his shop.
