Does anyone have the LX with the "Rod Jenkins" grip? Rod had some input in a grip that is slightly flat on the area where the base of the thumb rest-center and right of center for righthanded bow.  That is the one I shot and fell in love with. Infact, after shooting that bow I grabbed a wood file and filed a similar flat spot on the grip of the recurve I had just finished! It seems to reference the hand so that there is a direct pressure in line with the string, bow and your hand and bones up your arm. The bow just jumps forward upon conclusion of the shot, in line with the force that is transferred to the arrow. Am I just babbling on, or does this make sense to you guys?

It makes great sense. Deertracks' LX has the Jenkins grip. I shot it several times and loved it.

...shhhhhh! Don't talk so loud!  haha  I actually showed Norm a recurve I had just finished making. But I had not filed the flat spot into the grip yet. I'd like to hear what he would have to say about that.

I do feel really bad about my post. Was having a miserable day and again I really am sorry that I posted that crap. Kevin makes an excellent bow.

With it being over 100 degrees the last few days I've been a bit cranky myself. No ones perfect, but we are forgiven! Good to hear from you BD.

Snag, I have the Rod Jenkins grip on my LX and it is great. You're right the way it's made it lines up the wrist and forearm to get better alinement. Rod can explain it better than I can.
How you doing Alex? I enjoyed meeting and shooting with you. Now this guy has a dream job.

Well BD it was just an opinion and we all have one.  No harm done.  Yes, maybe off topic but most of us have been guilty of that at one time or another.  I am a big RER fan but also admire most bowyers work.  Truth is they all make one occasionally that makes me say "what was he thinking?".  When I do that I try to remember that to someone else it may be their dream bow.  Still makes it ugly to me.  If you get a chance take a look at some other RER's in person.  I think you'll find something you like.  From a performance perspective there's a lot to like.
Do or do not ... there is no "try"
