I'm looking for something for next fall out west. Want to elk hunt but have to have something so the wife can sight-see. Help me out please?

Hit the San Juans in southwest CO. Wife can visit the Mesa Verdi National Park, Durango/Silverton Train ride, Casino in Cortez...

Durango is college town...plenty of activites to keep her jumpin.
"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.

Thanks Joe, sounds good. I thought about maybe an outfitter with a lodge because she wants to be with me at night. She's not ready for the wall tent in the mountains yet.
