1 7/8" Silver Flames
« on: July 26, 2009, 10:19:00 AM »
a few years a go Marcus at Silver Flames made a special order of 1 7/8" Silver Flames for a customer and will never be making them again .he had a few left and which i bought and they were sold before they reached Canada .
a lot of guys were asking me for them when i had non left . i have been offered some from the person who bought them originally and have some on the way to me and can get more bringing in 30 at a time as they are very costly .not sure of price at the moment as waiting for them to arrive and see if Customs nails me for duty . if you are interested drop me a PM or an email at [email protected] and i will let you know what the price is when they arrive .
these things will blow a hole through any North American game .blood trails are easy .---- herb

Do you know how much they weigh?

I have been playing around with the new 180gr 1.5" Silver Flames and really like them. I have only shot one hog with them so far this summer but the hole was very big and lots of blood for tracking. I know alot of guys hated to see the 1 7/8's go I bet they look like a flying axe!

I shoot a 46# bow. Is this 1 7/8" blade to wide for the power my bow puts out ?

Thanks

coaster500 - I shoot 46# and I've used one this past year and took a bear and a buck with it.  No problem with penetration. The one I've been using weighs 187gr not 175.

Rick sent you an email ,if you don't get it let me know .i have some Vario blades left and i ship the first blades i have made tomorrow .Herb's Feather Cutter is about to take flight .

Coaster under 20 yds with any Silver Flame not hitting bone and you will have a pass through , taking out ribs and they will still do the job --they are varey .varey sharp--- herb
