Even though the "diffuser" looks like some kind of alien sex toy, it turns the small flashlight into a pretty good lantern....   :saywhat:

Unfortunatly, I had to send one back today. Course it was a duplicate for the order I had already received! Seriously it is a fantastic light. I have both Surefire and Streamlight compact flashlights. This one will replace them in my pack.

Some might say its too expensive because I loose a lot of stuff. Well I can tell you my brother David looses and leaves behind all kinds of stuff: grunt calls, face masks, armguards, bugle tubes, pocket knives, shirts, $4000 video camera lenses, and you guessed it, his Main Beam flashlight. He lost it on the first day of November last year. We looked and looked for that thing along our hall road cutting through our property. After heavy wind blew a tree down, David cut it up this past June. As we was chucking the logs out of the way, he looked down and saw his flashlight. He turned it on, it was bright as ever, even after staying outside most of the fall, all of the winter and spring. He put it in his pocket and went on his way... I'm sure he will loose it again.... but its Whitey tough! Mike
