First Trad Groundhog

Here is my first trad groundhog. If you would like to read the story... go to the "Adventures of EVO" the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital fundraiser thread.
You might pick up a few helpful hints should you want to hunt "garden grizzlies".
Happy hunting!

Congrats fnshtr. They are fun to hunt. not to mention pretty good eating too. Here is one I took back mid July. I took him with a 60Lb Stahl Longbow and SNUFFER broadhead.

Thanks for all your kind comments...
Tony: I liked both of the pics you posted. Great fun!
I'll be sending EVO (the bow) on to Mike in Michigan tomorrow... but I think I might take my Zipper out Saturday and look for a bigger groundhog.
Good hunting...

Thanks fnshtr. I hope you do take a big one with your Zipper. There is one that I am after, that have to be the biggest Groundhog I have ever seen in all my years of hunting them. I think the only way I am going to get him, is either early morning or late evening. I have only seen him once this year. I hope to get a chance at him this coming weekend. Shoot Straight and Good Hunting.
